All moved in!

Well, it took longer than a week, but we're all moved in now. All that's left to do is unpack everything and put everything in it's place. Libby (the little basset) is pretty much done with her heat cycle, so now we're just kind of settling in to our summer. Vic's friend Emily arrived on the 12th to stay the summer, and that's been going well too. not much time right now, so I'll write more later.

New House

Weeell, the long and arduous home buying odyssey has finally come to a close. We got the keys for our new home yesterday, and we'll be moved in about a week from today (barring anything unexpected! Our younger basset is also on her first heat cycle, so we've got a handful around the house as it is, without adding packing to the fray. Victoria has her last final at 7 am tomorrow, and I finished up with school (for the semester) yesterday, after my final critique in ceramics. Victoria is set to start her internship with the FAA in a few weeks, and her new job starts on Monday. Other than that, everything is pretty normal! I don't have time to post much more, so for now I'm going to stop.

The beginning...

I have only ever tried a blog once, and failed miserably, so if this comes to no fruition, I apologize for wasting anyone's time! I'll be building this blog fairly gradually, but eventually I should be posting regularly. Until next time, remember-we are every one of us self made, but only the successful will admit it.
